Mid Century Jewish Mawrtyrs

Making the Decision to Eat Non-Kosher Food at Bryn Mawr

Being Jewish was very important to me. I'd always eaten kosher food at home and out [of the house]. Bryn Mawr College was the first time that I had to make the adjustment that I would eat chicken and beef out. It was at Bryn Mawr that I first learned that I had to do that [eat unkosher chicken and beef outside of the house] if I was going to survive.
