I didn't hang out with the private school rich girls cause I just thought I wasn't one of them. Now maybe they didn't hang out with me cause I was Jewish, but I wouldn't know that. They all seemed very sophisticated, and tall, and sleek, and well-dressed, and I was wearing hand-me-downs from my cousin. I kind of had the feeling that you were supposed to come with money which I didn’t. But I just associated that [not having money or hanging out with the private school girls] with my father being a high school teacher and having too many children, not being Jewish. [PAUSE] As I say it was a long time ago. I was naive and didn't recognize a lot of what might have been there.
