I was assigned [to Rhoads]. It was just assigned to me and I don't know how they did that actually. I have no idea. I'm trying to think when Rhoads was built. It was quite new at that time. I don't know the exact year but maybe they just had more space. It was quite a large, we had the north and the south Rhoads and I think maybe it was fairly new and they had space so they put a lot of freshmen there.

Was it because there was so many freshmen there that there ended up having that many Jews?

Yes. I think so but I absolutely don't know. I doubt if they segregated us according to our religion.
