This task requires that you change the font family and/or embed a font into your website. This can be done in several ways! First way, when you go on your WordPress Website, go to your Dashboard, head down to the Plugin, once you click on Plugins you will see more options and from there you can click on Add New. Once you’re in the Add New page click on the search bar and search for ‘Fonts Plugin | Google Fonts Typography’ and you can install the plugin and then activate it! From there you can go to the Appearance section of your dashboard and press Customize and you will see the Fonts Plugin. In you want to change your font by using CSS— check out W3School’s lesson on CSS Web Fonts. Also, check out the lesson on Typography in LinkedIn Learning’s “CSS Essential Training”, which teaches you how to change your font as well as add custom fonts. Google Fonts and Font Awesome are both good resources to use in order to find custom fonts for your site. However, make sure to also read up on the “License” for your chosen font as there may be restrictions on how it can be used. |
