The Red Forest

This StoryMap explores depictions of nature in the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster. From dangerous and deformed mutants to thriving and healthy wildlife, fictional and nonfictional accounts of nature in the area surrounding the Chernobyl power plant vary greatly. The StoryMap explores the connections between these accounts and their importance.
