Fictional Representation of The Exclusion Zone
This StoryMap offers a comparison of the science-fiction novel Roadside Picnic’s Zone to the real Chernobyl Exclusion Zone created in the aftermath of the nuclear disaster. It explores the two zones’ origins and individual characteristics. The map also considers the so-called Stalkers who roam and loot both zones.
