The Digital Technology Summer Internship
About the Summer Internship at Makerspace
Internships at Bryn Mawr Makerspace allow students to participate in a professional working and creating environment. During summer, interns will apply universal and inclusive design, project management, and learn different digital fabrication tools and woodshop equipment.
Summer Internship at Makerspace is part of on-campus LITS Digital Technology Internships. These Internships allow you to develop digital competencies through many different projects while supporting Bryn Mawr community members. Moreover, interns will also have opportunities to communicate with professionals with various backgrounds, such as academic, education, library and information science, and digital technology-related fields. Projects may vary every year. Depending on staffing needs, LIT may hire interns for related work during the academic year.
This is a college-sponsored internship, which is fully funded by the College and includes structured programming. To learn more about college-sponsored internships Click Here.
Interns are expected to work full-time on Bryn Mawr College campus for 10 weeks. They are paid biweekly at the college’s standard Level 1 student rate. Interns are responsible for finding and paying for their own housing; some on-campus housing is available.
