Task! Embed a video on your site

If you want to share video content on your website, it’s better to embed a video hosted elsewhere instead of hosting the file on your own website (check out this article for a quick explanation why). You’ve probably seen this done with videos from YouTube or Vimeo, where a small video player appears within the webpage you’re viewing. Here at Bryn Mawr, you also have the option to host your videos on Panopto.

Using your own video or one of the videos from our content kits, try embedding a video on your WordPress website. This support article from Panopto provides instructions on retrieving the embed code for a video hosted on Panopto, which can be pasted into any HTML document. Use the custom HTML block to paste the embed code into the Block Editor.

You can also use the Youtube or Vimeo Block to post a video.
